Yeah, That Happened to Me

     Who remembers Rescue Hero's? I remember Rescue Hero's. Our neighbour down the street got Tyler interested in them. When I found out they had girl Rescue Hero's, I liked them to. In fact, I can remember exactly where I got my first one, which store, what time of day, who I was with, which one I got, and.. what happened before I even bought it.

     The whole family went out to Wal-Mart. It was the one on Two-Notch Road, a few miles down from our house in Elgin. It was after dinner time, and it was already getting dark. (See, I said I remember EVERYTHING(: ) Me and Tyler had just picked out our Rescue Hero-- I got Wendy. We still had to pick up a few food items, and me and Tyler decided to just walk around the whole store holding our toys.

     When we got to the frozen food section, my stomach started to feel bad. I told mom that I didn't feel good and she told me that we would be going home soon.

     When we got to the bread section, I told Mom that I was going to throw up in ONE minute. She looked at me and said, "Alright, just wait a few more minutes and I'll take you to the bathroom."

     Approximately, thirty seconds later-- when we got to the fresh produce section, I threw up, ALL over the floor.

     One of the ladies there had to clean it up. Before she cleaned it up, she put this white powdery stuff on it. Dad tried to help her a bit, but she appeared to have it under control. I guess alot a people clean up puke in Wal-Mart.

     So we left, and I didn't get in trouble. Besides, I told Mom  would throw up in ONE minute, and she obviously didn't appreciate my timing skills. (:

     If anyone cares, after I threw up, I felt much better, and continued to play with my Rescue Hero when we got home. I think this story was more embarrassing for my parents, however, This Happened to Me (:

My Disapointment.

     I have to say, I was really sad when we got crushed on Saturday. The Pokes beat us for the first time in 8 years. It was a well deserved win. With the Sooners playin like they were!..good grief. There really is no hope for them. They better bring the A game next year. Now people are looking to see whos gonna have National. Personally I hope Alabama. I have new reasons to like them. I watched the Alabama-Auburn game when I was in Illinois, (We crushed them by the way), The Coach was so humbled and down-to-earth. he wasn't cocky that his team was part of the big three or anything! He even said it would be a privilege to go against LSU again, who HE said was probably to best team in the Country. Wow. That is like SO the opposite behavior I would expect coming from a coach who just won, and a coach who knows he has a great team. I think they should win, just for that. Defiantly gonna be interesting to see how this will all turn out. (:

     I bought Smallville season 10!! WHOOP WHOOP! So excited, I haven't finished it all yet, but I will after school today. I watch a pretty good amount of episodes when they aired, but I missed even more. I saw the finale, so I know how it all truns out, it's just some of the stuff in between that have to fill in the blanks, haha (:

     It's supposed to snow today, but as I look outside, all I see is wind and sun. It is very cold however.

     We finally got out Christmas tree up. It's beautiful!! We went Blue and Silver this year ( My favorite! ). Normally I would have the Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving, but this year Mom put it up. We got a new tree and everything. I was glad she did it too, because I had already put up 3 other Christmas trees this weekend, and I was a little Christmas-treed out. Lol(:

Yeah, That Happened to Me

    Every year my family has a tradition of going to a Christmas parade. Before we moved to Oklahoma, we went to the Blythwood parade they had every year. It was the best small-town parade ever. It was never boring, had cool floats and they threw out prizes.

     They threw out candy, people would give out soda cans, Christmas cards, invitations to Churches, one year the Girl Scouts gave out presents. This particular year, one float had a tshirt shoot.

     We were at the same place we always were every year, out by the intersection of a grocery store. There was this family next to us who were the most enoying people EVER! Dad didn't let us bring bags to put our candy  in. If we got some we just put it in our pocket. these people had Wal-mart bags for their candy. I remember one guy who was going around giving kids candy, and he said, "You guys know how it works!" Like they had come more times then we had. WRONG! We just weren't as greedy as them. Ha.

     Anyhow, this family had 3 girls,  with their Mom and Dad and one other man there. This float was going by, and they had a tshirt shoot. They shot it in my direction, so I went for it. The MOM of the family, practicly knocked me over, snatched it from me, and walked away. Talk about greedy. She STOLE if from me. She did not hand out Christmas cheer. She Didn't GIVE she GOT. I think I can figure out where she kids learned to be greedy. Oh boy.

     Yeah, this happened to me, and I was NOT happy. Lol(:

Hmm..

     Last night I had a very strange dream. ALL of my dreams are strange. They always include some sort of complicated plot, that makes perfect since to me. In the dream that is. I actually don't have just one dream and then it's done. Usually, all my dreams are connected some how. Like the same house will be used for different things. Or someone I met will make a second appearance. Sometimes, I refer to a comment I made in another dream, or the 'rules' are the same, and apply to the later dream.

     Sometimes I wish that dreams are actually something that you're struggling in real life and then all you have to do, is go to a therapist, they tell you what it means and then life becomes so much better. Wouldn't that be nice? I think it would.

     The truth of the matter is I love dreams. Sometimes they are so cool and I wish they could be in real life. Don't judge me people, you're just jealous I have a bigger imagination than you(;
But, there are those dreams that scare me out of my wits. The ones where I wake up sweating and think it actually happened because it was so real. Those are scary. They make me wanna hide under the covers like a little kid bro!! Lol.

     Wouldn't it be cool if you got a dream from God? Like, Joseph, who got dreams about what would happen in the future? And then, when other people told him their dream he could tell you what they ment after he prayed about it to God? That would be the coolest.

I like dreams(:

Upward!

     Guess What?? I'm an Upward Coach! I teach Cheer with my Mom. Tuesday Night was our first practice, and I think it went really well considering how neither me, or my mom have ever taught anything like this, haha(: We had 7 little girls, out of which 4 are related to me, and the 5th one is from our church, so I really only had to meet 2 girls, and they are very sweet(: My little brother has basket ball in the gym, and he is on my Bestie's team! I think this is gonna be a good year.

      I can't wait for game days to start though. They are my favorite!!! I just love them so much, I love-- oh well, I just love everything about  it!! Haha(:

Chicago!

     On Tuesday, we came back from our vacation in Chicago. I had a great time. I had deep dish pizza, which to tell the truth, I thought it would be better, but it was still SO. GOOD. I also went to the Water Tower place, which is a 7 story mall. went to the American Girl store, and the Lego store. Both very cool. My favorite thing about the city was the fact you had to walk everywhere, and when you looked down the street you could only see towers. It kinda reminded me of  like, old-timey New York.
     I didn't like, how nobody there has any hospatiality. Seriously, I grew up in the South, and if you wave at someone, they wave back.
     Not there.
     Also, the wind comming off the Lake.. COLD.

     While we were up there I saw 1st 2nd AND 3rd cousins, my great Aunt, my other great Aunt, my great Uncle, my regular Uncle, my Grandma, my great Grandma, and my great Grandpa.

     It was an adventure, but I had a great time, and I'm glad we could go.(:

Yeah, That Happened to Me

     On my way to church yesterday morning I was thinking about my blog, and how I should start a 'series' of stuff, instead of just random things. I ended up coming to the conclusion that I should call them 'Yeah, That Happened to Me', because I had this one story that I just crack up at every time I think about it. And I'm sure as I go on, I'll have  many more stories to tell(:

Enjoy(:

     Before we moved to Oklahoma I  was looking at the map, and noticed a place called Slapout. Yes, that IS the real name.It was pretty close to the panhandle on the Southern side. Well for a long time I had told people what little I knew about Oklahoma's geography,  "..there was a place called Slapout near the panhandle.. blah blah blah."
A few months ago I was at my Bestie's Birthday party.  There were a few people that had come from our Church ( But they had to leave early) and there were some people from another church in Bixby. Her Nana and Papa, Aunt and cousins were there too.
I was sitting at a picnic with three kids from the other church, and her Papa. My Bestie and the only other girl from our church had gone to take her presents to her car. So, since I didn't know the other kids, and they didn't start a conversation, I did. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: "So what kinds of things does your youth group like to do?"

"All kinds of different things you can imagine."

Me: nodding my head, "Thats cool... So I know you guys go to Church camp later in the summer, we go in June, to the camp in Talihina."

"Yeah.."

Me: "Well I bet you guys had fun! I love church camp.."

"Yeah we really did."

Me: "So, where so church camp? I only moved here last year, and I still don't have everything placed."

"Haha, well I've lived here my whole life, and I still don't have everything placed!"

Me: "That's understandable, I didn't know everywhere in South Carolina-- where I'm from. Did you know that theres a place called Slapout near the panhandle?"

"Really? I never knew that! What a weird name!"

Me: "I know right? Imagine If you lived there, it would be like, 'So where are you from?' 'Oh, I'm from Slapout!'"

My Bestie's Papa, who has been sitting here the whole time: "Have you ever been to Slapout?"

Me: "No, only heard about it.."

Papa: "I had a friend who used to live there, I grew up near there too."

*Awkward silence..

Me: nodding my head, "That's pretty cool. I never knew that."

Papa: "Yeah, It's a nice little town."

*Awkward silence... Yeah the conversation was over now, thank goodness my friends came back.

Yeah, this happened to me(:

Guess it's only fun to make fun of something when there is little to no chance of knowing someone that could be form there. Oh well. I haven't made fun of Slapout since then(:

Football

     I love to watch football. College football. It's something that everyone can do, talk about and have in common. Of course, when sports take over your life, I have to back away. Nothing besides being a Christian should take over your life.
     I don't really have a favorite team. I don't really base my  favorites on how well the team plays or if I know someone who goes to that school. When I lived in South Carolina, I always said that the Gamecocks were my favorite because I liked the sound of the NAME. Now I have to say my favorites are OU and Alabama. They both have similar colors (which I like Lol) and I like the names. BOOMER SOONER.. ROLE TIDE!!(:
     I plan on watching the 'bama game tonight.. here's to a good game!!(:

TGIF

     Yes! It's the weekend and I'm oh, so excited. Up until this school year, weekends weren't all that exciting to me. When I was little, I remember that Saturdays were always our weekly cleaning days. So as you can imagine, I didn't like it very much. The past few years weren't all that exciting because of no particular reason I guess. Saturdays just felt like any 'ole day of the week to me.
     But this year, weekends just speed by way to fast. During the week I feel I can't get anything done besides school work, so I feel like the weekend is my 'catch up days', where I can watch t.v., read books and just relax. Oh, and SLEEP IN. That never happens during the week anymore. Lol.
     This weekend I plan on, watching Captain America (one of the best movies EVER! Since Dad bought it, I still haven't watched it!!) Make more Jewelry ( I just went shopping for supplies on Wednesday, and haven't been able to sit down and look at it..) Get my room cleaned ( I did however get most of that done last night though(: )
     So, here's hoping I get all of that done this weekend(:

     Oh! Happy 11/11/11 guys! This morning we were doing school all together, and I tweeted on the very minute! Lol. 60 seconds never went so fast(:

Guess What I Saw?!

     Christmas lights!! I'm so excited! Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
 I know we still have Thanksgiving-- which is my real favorite time of the year. Or, theoretically anyway. See, I was just talking about fall-time with mom a few weeks ago. Hay rides, face painting, pumpkins, leaf piles, potlucks, all things you would think about when you mention fall is just my favorite. But, now-a-days when people think of fall, it's usually associated with Halloween. But now I'm off subject. Lol.
     Christmas is my favorite time of the year because:

Christmas lights
Christmas music!!
The smells
The cold weather
The 'Christmas Spirit'
And most of all because we are celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

     I do believe in the Christmas spirit. Taking out the bit about LYING TO YOU KIDS concerning SANTA, the Christmas spirit is something with-in its self. It has it's own smell, it has it's own look, it has it's own music, it has it's own meaning. Christmas is participated by so many, everywhere you look you see it. Christmas makes me happy inside, warm inside, thankful inside, I have so much inside I feel like I'm gonna bust with happiness! Can you say Spirit or what? I can't wait!!

Proverbs 31

I wanted to take a few minutes, to talk about my Mom. My Mom is pretty awesome. I know I tell her that all the time, but it's truly not enough to measure what she deserves. These are some of the things my Mom is to me:
Teacher
Best Friend
Role Model
Chef
Christian
Helper
Business Manager (It's true, we both know it;)
and, above all, my Mother.

I myself have been described as the perfect Proverbs 31 woman, (besides the bit of being married I'm sure;) and, I hope I get those qualities from my Mom. We may argue a lot, and get sick of each other, but at the end of the day, she's my Mom, and I'm her daughter, and I love her very much.

Mom, you are so awesome, and I love you so much<3

10 A wife of noble character who can find?
   She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
   and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
   all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
   and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
   bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
   she provides food for her family
   and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
   out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
   her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
   and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
   and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
   and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
   for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
   she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
   where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
   and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
   she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
   and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
   and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
   her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
   but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
   but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
   and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Let's Try This Again..

     Okay, I decided to make a WHOLE NEW blog, since I couldn't set my old one the way I wanted it. Not to mention the fact that I hadn't posted since AUGUST! But, I'm gonna try and keep up with this one.
     I am still SO tired from this weekend. Never in my life had I pushed myself to stay awake for as long as I did this passed weekend. For those who don't now, I was awake for a grand total of 37 hours. Boy, I was tired. I even slept through the biggest earthquake ever recorded in Oklahoma. It was a 5.6. Last night was an aftershock of 4.7 that lasted aobut 15-30 seconds. Facebook exploded. It was acctually kinda funny, haha. Only Oklahoma can contain a blizzard, a record low of -31 degrees, a drought, record high of 121 degrees, intence storms, tornados, AND earthquakes in 1 year. Gracious. All these crazy weather disasters everywhere are kinda freaking me out. But, a can tell you, these are only the birthing pains, I'm sure.
     I think, Bro. Neil teaching aobut Eshatology (sp?) is happening at just the right time. I really wanna know more and more about it everyday.
